Meet Lisa: Your Go-To Customer Account Manager

Meet Lisa, a dedicated member of the team at Peacock Turfscape. As the Customer Account Manager, Lisa plays a vital role in ensuring that existing and potential customers receive the best service possible. 

In the first of our new series of "Meet the Team" blog posts, we'll get to know Lisa, her journey with the company, and what makes her an invaluable part of the Peacock Turfscape family.

A Journey of Growth and Dedication

Lisa's journey with Peacock Turfscape dates back to 2013, making her one of the original team members. She began her career with the company behind the trade counter, but her passion and drive quickly led her to work in all areas of the business. When the company changed to Peacock Turfscape, she was given the opportunity to specialise in one area. She chose Account Management because her favourite aspect of the job has always been interacting with customers.

She takes pride in being the first point of contact for existing customers and is equally enthusiastic about finding new ones. Lisa enjoys delving into the projects customers are working on and finding innovative solutions for their needs, no matter how unique or challenging they may be.

What drew Lisa to this role initially was her brother's enthusiasm for the world of aggregate sales, ‘I wanted to experience the same job satisfaction and happiness he found in his career, and I haven’t looked back since.’

A Well-Rounded Professional

Lisa's educational background includes a focus on Communication and Media during her college years. Before joining Peacock Turfscape, she gained valuable experience in telesales at companies like BT and 3 Mobile. Her telesales role at a software company allowed her to expand her horizons, identifying untapped marketing opportunities and evolving her role to meet the company's needs.

Unforgettable Moments

During her time at Peacock Turfscape, Lisa had a moment she'll never forget. She was responsible for designing creative content for the company, which included billboards and vehicle graphics. One day, while driving down the motorway, she was so excited she almost squealed when she spotted one of the company's trucks adorned with her design traveling in the opposite direction.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Lisa leads an active lifestyle as a member of Bellahouston Road Runners. While she used to participate in races before having her first child, she's now working hard to get back into the running scene. She's a passionate advocate for Park Run and loves to share the benefits of taking part. In her downtime, Lisa enjoys reading and the soothing art of crocheting.

Future Goals and Aspirations

Lisa has big plans for the future. She's committed to bringing more customers on board to help Peacock Turfscape expand even further. Lisa says, ‘With significant investments in equipment, processes, and staff following the company's transition to Peacock Turfscape, I’m eager to showcase these positive changes and allow others to benefit from them.’

A Hidden Talent?

Lastly, here's a fun fact about Lisa that most people don't know: she's learning Italian! Having married into an Italian family she regularly visits Italy and loves practising her language skills with the locals.

In conclusion, Lisa is not only an essential member of the Peacock Turfscape team but also a passionate, creative, and determined individual who brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her role as Customer Account Manager.
