Meet the Team - Fraser

We are delighted to introduce you to Fraser, one of our hardworking Yard Operatives. Fraser has been part of Peacock Turfscape for just over a year and during that time has become a real backbone of the team.

Fraser always has time for everyone. Whether he’s helping a customer, supporting a colleague or getting stuck into whatever needs done around the yard, he can always be relied upon. His friendly, thoughtful nature makes him a hugely valued member of our team.

Fraser joined Peacock Turfscape after previously working alongside Andy Pearson. When the opportunity arose, he felt the position would be a good fit for him and it certainly has been!

A qualified HGV mechanic by trade, Fraser brings a wide range of knowledge and experience to the role. He has worked across several industries, including landscaping, construction and logistics, and also has more than 10 years of experience operating machinery.

As a Yard Operative, Fraser’s days are always busy and varied. His main responsibilities include:

• Mixing Soils: Producing our Horti Soil and Premium Turfbase blends on-site.
• Unloading Deliveries: Making sure incoming stock is unloaded safely and efficiently.
• Loading and Serving Customers: Helping customers get everything they need and safely loading their vehicles.
• Bagging Stock: Keeping our range of bagged products prepared and ready for customer orders.
• General Yard Duties: Getting involved wherever he is needed and helping to keep the yard running smoothly.

What Fraser enjoys most about working at Peacock Turfscape is the people around him, describing everyone as a “great team.” His children are his biggest motivation and inspire him to work hard and always do his best.

One of Fraser’s most memorable moments since joining us was taking part in our “Class on Grass” staff football match. It was a brilliant opportunity for everyone to get together, enjoy some friendly competition and show off a few questionable football skills!

When he isn’t busy keeping our yard running, Fraser enjoys spending time with his family, hill walking, archery and shooting. He also has a keen interest in martial arts and is currently working towards achieving his black belt in both judo and karate, a goal that takes a huge amount of hard work, focus and dedication!

Fraser’s experience, strong work ethic and willingness to help make a difference every day. We’re extremely lucky to have him as part of the Peacock Turfscape team!
