Meet Martin, our General Manager here at Turfscape. He’s the person keeping everything running smoothly - overseeing day-to-day operations, supporting our teams, and making sure we’re offering the right products to the right people at just the right time.

Martin’s still a relatively fresh face, having joined us seven months ago, but he’s already become a key part of the business. What drew him in? After many years in the manufacturing and construction industry, he was ready for a new challenge and found just that at Turfscape!

When asked what he enjoys most about working here he said the people, first and foremost. That includes both the diverse team and our customers, who he enjoys talking to daily. Although his role is mostly office-based, Martin enjoys it when he spends time in the yard and out in the fields - and with 125 acres of turf to take in, it’s not hard to see why.

Success motivates Martin, but not in the traditional sense. For him, it’s about seeing the positive changes we’ve made start to take root - a happier team, a smooth-running operation, and a real sense of momentum as we head into a new season. He’s already caught the turf bug and can’t wait to see what the months ahead bring.

His standout memory so far? The Christmas night out. A chance to meet the wider team from the Peacock family, unwind, and enjoy good company – and it’s something he’s looking forward to repeating.

 Away from work, Martin’s a busy family man and proud dad of five. He coaches his sons’ football teams, stays active with golf and badminton, and still manages to squeeze in the occasional book – most recently 'We Need to Talk About Kevin Bridges'. While Martin’s a talented single-handicap golfer, he’s yet to match the bragging rights of his 13-year-old son, who’s impressively already notched up a hole-in-one!

 It’s been brilliant having Martin on board, and we’re glad he’s feeling as energised and excited for the season ahead as us. Let’s grow, Team!
