We are delighted to introduce Holli, our dynamic office administrator here at Peacock Turfscape! Joining the team in January this year, she quickly became the friendly face behind our customer interactions - over the trade counter, online and over the phone.

She was compelled to apply for the position after researching the company. The operations at Turfscape were different from other roles she had seen advertised, and the background history of the parent company, Peacock Salt, was awe inspiring - celebrating 150 years is something to be proud of!

After leaving school during the COVID era she tried a few paths including an HR apprenticeship. She decided this wasn’t for her and hoped for a hands-on role within a larger business that offered room for progression.

So, what does she love most about working here? For her, it’s all about the people. From fellow staff members to our suppliers and customers, she feels part of a warm, close-knit community; building relationships that brighten each day. Her motivation goes deeper: she loves seeing the results of customer projects and is keen to encourage our customers to share more of their projects with us.

Anyone who has met Holli would agree that there is always a bit of fun mixed into her workday. She classes herself as the office joker and loves keeping her colleagues entertained with her humour and heartfelt singing every day.

Outside of work, Holli loves finding the best brunch spots—especially those that welcome her dogs for a weekend "puppuccino." Her reading tastes are eclectic; she adores Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover and The Wrong Sister by Claire Douglas, and she’s also a huge true crime fan, always on the lookout for a gripping podcast or documentary.

As for future goals, she’s excited about the opportunities ahead. She hopes to continue growing with the company, embracing training that will refine her skills and allow her to serve our customers with greater expertise and care.

Finally, here are two fun facts that Holli is happy to share about her: she can rap the entire Rap God song by Eminem. She’s also proudly multilingual – (well, she can say ‘hello’ in seven different languages!)
