Meet the Team - Kearn

Since joining Peacock Turfscape in November 2023, Kearn, our Office Supervisor has been a vital part of the team, keeping everything ticking behind the scenes. She leads on stock control and purchasing, oversees daily office operations, and plays an important role in defining processes to making sure our office runs like clockwork.

With a diverse background spanning office management, logistics, quality control, and scheduling across sectors like transport, life sciences, and public services, she brings a wealth of experience in compliance and admin operations. It’s this versatility and focus that help streamline our internal systems and make life easier for the wider team.

What drew her to the role? “It’s the variety  - a great balance of office management and hands-on problem-solving, with a good mix of structure and flexibility.” It’s also clear that the people make a big difference: the camaraderie and collaboration across the business are what she enjoys most.

One standout moment from her time so far has been helping to coordinate a charity project with SBH Scotland and Thrive Landscaping, building fencing for a children’s garden at the SBH Family Centre. “It was lovely to collaborate with valued customers on something meaningful that benefits local families.”

Outside work, she juggles life with a teenage daughter and a lively five-year-old dog – both of whom keep her on her toes. When life slows down and time allows, her well-earned relaxation usually involves a good boxset – a gripping drama or feel good comedy normally hit the spot.

Her goals include refining processes even further and, over time, stepping into a more strategic leadership role. And here’s a fun fact that might surprise you: she grew up on the Isle of Arran and once met Princess Diana at the age of six, when the royal visited the local factory her mum managed.

We’re glad to have her on board as part of the team – in fact, some colleagues lovingly refer to her as the mum of the office!
